RESUME SKILLS

Qasim Rasi is the Director of Entrepreneurship HUB and cofounder of Entrepreneurship@UAlberta program. Dr. Rasi did his post doctoral work at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, and received a finance-specialization MBA from the Alberta School of Business.  As a graduate student in molecular biology, Dr. Rasi was always keen on innovation and being able to transform lab based research into commercial ventures. It was through his entrepreneurial zeal that he was able to expand his portfolio of skills and eventually find his way to building University of Alberta's Entrepreneurship program.

Neesha Desai just finished her PhD in Computing Science at the University of Alberta. Over the last year and a half, she has co-founded, with friends, Alieo Games, an EdTech startup company focused on making educational products that are engaging for students, informative for teachers, and fun for all. They recently launched their first product, COW, and are currently in schools in Alberta, BC and Georgia (the U.S. state - not the country). She has been interested in EdTech for a long time and started off by making small games for her niece and nephew focused on math and programming.
